Minimum 5 years warranty on all of our supplier's slabs!
Warranty Information
At MO Stone, we are committed to delivering high-quality stone surfaces and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction. For this reason, we are pleased to offer a minimum five (5) year warranty on installed slab surfaces for residential owner-occupiers. The warranty period begins from the date of installation or purchase by the original owner or installer, whichever occurs first. This warranty is issued and supported by our approved suppliers.
Warranty Coverage
The warranty applies exclusively to manufacturing defects that may arise within the stated warranty period. Should a qualifying defect be identified, the original supplier will arrange for the replacement of the affected quartz surface in accordance with their warranty terms.
Care & Maintenance Guidance
To ensure the long-lasting performance and appearance of your MO Stone surface, we strongly encourage all customers to carefully review and follow the recommended care and maintenance guidelines. Proper upkeep is essential to preserving both the durability and aesthetic quality of your stone worktop.
Warranty Eligibility & Activation
The five-year supplier warranty is available to customers who have had a MO Stone slab installed in either a residential or commercial property by our team, supported by a valid MO Stone fitter invoice.
To maintain warranty validity, the following steps must be completed:
-
Warranty Activation
Customers must contact the original supplier to register and activate the warranty, providing all required installation and purchase details. Failure to complete this step or to obtain a warranty certificate will result in the warranty being void. -
Warranty Period
Once successfully activated, the warranty remains valid for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of installation, covering eligible manufacturing-related issues during this time.
We strongly recommend following the above procedures to protect your warranty entitlement and enjoy complete peace of mind throughout the coverage period.

What this warranty does not cover?
Cracks
Cracking & Structural Considerations
At MO Stone, our installations are carried out using durable materials designed to perform reliably under normal household conditions. While our stone surfaces are engineered for strength, cracking may occur when external forces or environmental factors place stress on the material.
Such factors may include, but are not limited to, impact damage, uneven cabinets or subfloors, structural movement or settlement within the property, thermal shock caused by direct contact with hot items, incorrect installation, or other conditions that cause the surface to shift or flex.
Warranty Exclusions
Please note that cracks are not covered under our warranty. As cracking is generally the result of external influences beyond our control, it falls outside the scope of warranty coverage.
45-Degree Corner Cuts
For all internal cut-outs within worktops or islands—such as sink, hob, or appliance openings—it is essential that 45-degree corner cuts are applied.
Any slab that does not incorporate this cutting method will not be eligible for warranty coverage. This requirement is in place to reduce stress points and support long-term structural integrity.
Reducing Thermal Stress
To help protect your stone surface from thermal stress, we strongly advise against placing hot cookware—such as skillets, crock pots, or heated appliances—directly onto the stone.
Always use trivets, heat pads, or chopping boards to create a protective barrier and prevent sudden temperature changes.
By following these recommendations, you can significantly reduce the risk of cracking or heat-related damage and ensure the long-term performance and durability of your MO Stone installation.
Abnormal use of abuse
Abnormal Use & Warranty Limitations
The warranty does not apply to products that have been exposed to abnormal use, unsuitable conditions, or any form of misuse. Abnormal use refers to situations that fall outside the recommended care, installation, and usage guidelines and may lead to damage.
Examples of conditions that are not covered under warranty include, but are not limited to:
-
Improper handling or misuse
Damage resulting from incorrect use, mishandling, or failure to follow recommended guidelines. -
Excessive heat or environmental exposure
Damage caused by high temperatures, scorching, or prolonged exposure to unsuitable weather conditions. -
Ultraviolet (UV) exposure
Changes or deterioration caused by long-term exposure to direct sunlight or ultraviolet light. -
Physical or chemical damage
Scratches, surface damage, or deterioration caused by harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or intentional misuse. -
Acid damage, staining, or poor maintenance
Damage resulting from acidic substances, staining agents, or failure to follow proper care and maintenance procedures. -
Impact-related damage
Chipping, cracking, breakage, or impact damage caused by incorrect handling or customer misuse.
Please note that the above list is not exhaustive. Any form of misuse or exposure to unsuitable conditions may result in the warranty being void.
To maintain the appearance, performance, and warranty coverage of your stone surface, we strongly recommend adhering to the care and maintenance guidelines provided. Correct use and routine care play a vital role in preserving the quality and longevity of your MO Stone installation.
